Health & Safety

It is Frontier Industrial Corp’s (“FIC”) policy and practice to strive to provide a work environment that is both safe and injury free at all job sites for both employees and Clients.  FIC practices Zero Tolerance for PPE and Safety violations.  FIC shares Owner’s philosophy of reaching and maintaining a goal that all work is incident and accident free.

To achieve this goal we require employees and managers to go through a series of programmed Health and Safety training sessions on a routine and regular basis. Our work crews go through daily Safety Task Assessment (STA) meetings with their Superintendent and weekly safety meetings. All field and operational managers go through quarterly and annual refresher training on all pertinent work / safety topics / issues.

Our clients benefit from this investment Frontier makes in its work force by having their projects performed incident and accident free.

Official "Health and Safety Statement":

It is Frontier’s mission to protect and promote the health and well being of our employees by providing a safe and healthy working environment at all of our offices and project sites. The Frontier Safety and Health Policy provides a foundation for this effort. It also provides a vehicle for complying with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations and for protecting equipment, materials, and property.

The Corporate Director of Health and Safety is responsible for establishing a health and safety program that implements Frontier’s Health and Safety Policy. This manager provides consultation to line management and conducts on-site health and safety audits to evaluate the safety of working environments and the use of effective health and safety procedures.

To support the Corporate Director of Health and Safety, each project has a designated Safety and Health Representative. These representatives are responsible for implementing and coordinating Frontier’s Health and Safety Policy and related procedures at his/her project. Project managers and supervisory personnel are responsible for the actions of those they supervise, for maintaining healthy and safe working conditions in their areas of responsibility, and for strictly enforcing all authorized health and safety rules and regulations. All employees are expected to comply with these rules and regulations.

Frontier considers personnel health and safety to be of primary importance in our offices and field operations. At Frontier you are part of a challenging industry. As part of our unique team, understand that our collective goal is to prevent occupational injuries and illness and work toward a zero injury / illness program. All employees are expected to help us achieve our goal.
